Care Groups
Our care groups are small groups that meet in homes and have three components: fellowship, prayer, and walking life together.
Our hosts are very excited to open their homes to you. You will enjoy this laid back time in a small group setting and this will allow you to grow both personally and in community.Just as a physical appendage such as a finger or ear cannot survive when removed from the body, so too the believer cannot long survive when removed from the Body of Christ. The Care Group ministry of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church is dedicated to connecting believer with the believing community.
Our Care Group Mission is, "To glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.
Great Commission:
18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
Great Commandment:
36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:36-39
